What I’m Learning to Let Go Of as My Business Grows
As my business has grown, I’ve learned that growth isn’t just about adding things.
Sometimes, it’s about letting things go.
→ Letting go of old expectations.
→ Letting go of how I thought success was supposed to look.
→ Letting go of the pressure to keep everything I’ve ever built just because it worked once.
In the early days, I said yes to almost everything. Every opportunity felt like the opportunity. I wanted to prove myself, build momentum, and make sure nothing slipped through my fingers.
But over time, I realized that carrying everything was making my business heavier than it needed to be.
Now, growth looks quieter.
More intentional.
More aligned.
I’m learning to let go of doing things “just because I always have.”
I’m letting go of offers that no longer fit the season I’m in.
I’m letting go of the idea that more always means better.
I’m letting go of the pressure to explain every decision I make.
Letting go doesn’t mean I’m giving up.
It means I’m choosing what actually matters.
My business feels lighter when I trust myself to evolve. When I allow things to change without guilt. When I make space for what’s next instead of clinging to what’s familiar.
Growth isn’t just about expansion.
Sometimes, it’s about refinement.
And sometimes, the bravest thing you can do for your business is decide what no longer needs to come with you.
